Toby Hudson is a passionate photographer based in Melbourne with over 20 years of commercial experience in the fashion industry.

Having began training as an assistant photographer in London in 1997, he worked full-time in photographic studios on still-life shoots, then as a freelance photographic assistant working in fashion, beauty and portraiture, honing his craft with renowned photographers including Mary McCartney and Bruce Weber. In 2005 he went out on his own, shooting campaigns in fashion advertising,  editorial and e-commerce at an international level for clients in London, New York, Paris, Germany, Italy and Australia. His work has been featured in The Sunday Times, Elle UK, Nylon, Men’s Health and Vogue Russia.

Toby moved permanently to Australia in 2011 shooting for Melbourne and Sydney based clients including Scanlan Theodore, Nicholas, Myer, Kmart and Green with Envy.
He loves working closely with his clients, on location or in studio, to develop their visual brand identities in a competitive and ever changing fashion and retail market. He has recently moved further into the world of motion capture, creating video content for his clients.
